Please make the (3) blocks as instructed below — or you are welcome to mix the colors around as you like! — and return them at the October 15th SLMQG meeting.

CUTTING

From each color strip, cut:

  • (15) 2 ½" x 2 ½"


PIECING BLOCK 4A

  1. Sew (5) 2 ½" x 2 ½" squares together into a row. Repeat to make a total of (5) rows.

  2. Lay out the rows in the order they will be sewn. Press the rows in alternating directions.

  3. Sew all (5) rows together, nesting the matching seams. Press seams as desired.

Block should measure 10 ½" x 10 ½".

  1. Sew (5) 2 ½" x 2 ½" squares together into a row. Repeat to make a total of (5) rows.
