Design Inspiration
“Eudaimonia” is the Greek word for “human flourishing.” Eudaimonia Studio designs are inspired by the ancient question of what it means to live well. The Curiosity quilt is inspired by the great wisdom that can be earned by releasing what we think we know and approaching people, situations, and life more broadly with an open mind.

About the design.
The Curiosity design is inspired by the great wisdom that can be earned by releasing what we think we know and approaching people, situations, and life more broadly with an open mind.
This pattern combines three foundational quilting techniques - half-square triangles (HSTs), half-rectangle triangles (HRTs), and square-in-a-square (SIAS) units - to create a striking geometric design. Depending on color placements and contrast, quilters can create many different looks with this pattern.

Details & Techniques
The Curiosity quilt combines three foundational quilting techniques - half rectangle triangles (HRTs), half square triangles (HSTs), and square-in-a-square units - that come together to create a striking geometric design!
This pattern includes three sizes - baby, small throw, and large throw - and is perfect for the advanced beginner looking to expand their skills. And if HRTs are new to you, or if you’d like to improve your technique, we’ve created a Mastering HRTs Workshop that dives deeper into the technique for precise and consistent results!
Fabrics
One of the most exciting aspects of Curiosity is how dramatically the quilt can transform depending on your fabric choices and color placement. The colors you choose (and in which order), will emphasize different elements within the pattern and take on a whole new look.
In this Daydream Version, the lower contrast fabrics really highlight the diamond shapes in the quilt and allow a circular motif to shine through. This color palette embraces a light and airy feeling, with soft peaches, blues, lavenders, and aquas to create a calm, dreamy aesthetic.
The quilt top is all Art Gallery Fabrics:

The backing is AGF Wild Canopy Twilight
